Hi everyone,

Next week, Prof. Susan Harrison will be visiting from UC Davis and giving
the ES Seminar; see details below. Prof. Harrison conducts fascinating
research on plant ecology and conservation biology. Her recent research is
pointing to not-so-great news about biodiversity risk in Californian
ecosystems with climate change. It is important to know. She is a great
speaker and a very nice person, and she is very interested in meeting with
