[QSB-grads] Reminder PIZZA!!!!! ESEE Q & A Event with NPCA Today 12-1 SSM 230 and Tonight 6-730

Please join us for ESEE student Q & A seminar before the ES seminar with David Lamfrom, of the National Parks Conservation Association, is the Director for their California Deserts program. He's also a herpetologist by training and leading the NPCAs effort to protect the Endangered Species Act. (Attaching his flier for a talk later that day to get a sense of his focus).

We'll do a lunch (12-1, SSM 230, Tuesday March 7th) to discuss his experiences, and make it a two way conversation about parks protection/monuments, desert industrial scale solar and energy development, and national concerns related to the ESA, among other topics. We won't explicitly focus on jobs, but we'll probably talk about leadership skills in wildlife and natural resource management.

  To cap this topic off we'll have a little roundtable meeting at Justin Yeager's house to discuss the topic among ourselves further.  There will be some snacks provided, but feel free to bring any extra food/drink to share.  The address is 912 W. 23rd St., we'll meet Tuesday from roughly 6-7:30, following the Q & A with David Lamfrom.
