Please find an announcement for two (2) open positions (at the Senior Scientist level) for (1) a Computational Structural Biologist; and (2) a Computational Immunologist or Systems Biologist.   The author writes:

"While these are senior positions, and that may usually suggest deep domain expertise (say, in protein design), if you know of a particularly talented student or mentee that has unusual breadth and solid fundamentals we would be eager to interview them, even if their work has focused on ecology or semiotics.”

I am seeking fantastic applicants for two (2) open positions (at the Senior Scientist level) in my group (Design Sciences) within FluNXT, a newly formed “Biotech within Sanofi Pasteur.”
Specifically, I am looking for (1) a Computational Structural Biologist; and (2) a Computational Immunologist or Systems Biologist.

FluNXT is based in Cambridge, MA, USA, and our mission is to develop and immediately apply novel machine learning based approaches for vaccine R&D at Sanofi Pasteur. The full job descriptions are available on LinkedIn:

While these are senior positions, and that may usually suggest deep domain expertise (say, in protein design), if you know of a particularly talented student or mentee that has unusual breadth and solid fundamentals (e.g. someone who could clearly articulate what a Boltzmann distribution is, who can derive and explain the import of the bias-variance tradeoff, who can qualitatively describe what humoral immunity entails, etc.), we would be eager to interview them, even if their work has focused on ecology or semiotics. We are looking for “Medici scientists” who see connections across disciplines and act on them.
