Hey ES and QSB Grads and Post-docs,

ESEE-GWS is holding a Jantz pie meet n’ greet next week! ESEE (Environmental Systems, Ecology, & Evolution) is a discussion group designed to facilitate discussion and mentorship between graduate students and postdocs. The group is focused on creating a space for current graduate students and post-docs to get together in a laid-back atmosphere to discuss professional and personal aspects of life in graduate school. We want to create a space to have a community of incoming graduate students, more senior graduate students, and post-docs. Here at UCM there is nothing like this, so far. We are all isolated and divided into our small groups. This meet n’ greet is an opportunity to get pie, snacks, and coffee while meeting our group and letting us know what types of seminars, discussion, events, etc. that you would find beneficial to your graduate experience here at UCM. Come and get free pie and let us know what your thinking. If someone is not included in this email please forward this. Also if you have questions about our group please respond to this email.
