Dear colleagues,
Dr. James Chen from Stanford University is visiting us tomorrow, and give a seminar titled "Illuminating developmental Biology with photochemisty".
Dr. James Chen is Professor and Chair of Chemical and Systems Biology and Professor of Developmental Biology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. His lab is a pioneer in the study of small-molecule and genetic modulators of the Hedgehog signaling pathway; recently his lab has developed light-activatable technologies for studying in vivo biology, and lanthanide-based probes for ultrasensitive imaging. His seminar will cover a broad research interest in our community, and potentially foster collaborations.
Dr. Chen's seminar will be at 4-5pm, in COB 265. Thank you and look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
Best,
Susan
