Hi ESEE,

Please join us at our meeting tonight for the following:

1. Nicholas Dove (ES graduate student) will be giving a practice talk for
his qualifying exam on the *"Effects of high-severity, novel fire on
microbial communities and biogeochemical processes*."  Please join us to
hear about this interesting topic, provide constructive feedback, and
discuss science.

2. Announcement of new ESEE officers.  We welcome Kimber Moreland as the
President and Elisabet Perez Coronel as Vice President.

*When*: tonight, Oct 19th, 7-9 p.m.
*Where*: Jeff Lauder's house, 1552 Willowbrook Dr.
Please bring a snack/drink to share.
