[QSB-grads] [ESEE] Two items: meeting next week and survey/elections

Dear ESEE,

Two items of business.

*1. Meeting next week!*
          *· When:* Wed, Oct 19th, 7-9 p.m.
          *· Where:* Jeff Lauder's house, 1552 Willowbrook Dr.
-   Nicholas Dove (ES graduate student) will be giving a practice talk for
his qualifying exam on the *"Effects of high-severity, novel fire on
microbial communities and biogeochemical processes*."  Please join us to
hear about this interesting topic, provide constructive feedback, and
discuss science.
-  We also will be passing the torch to the new officers.

*2. ESEE survey and officer elections*
*Please fill out the survey at the link below by this Friday, Oct 14th.*
 It will only take 5 minutes and provides useful feedback as the group
grows and moves forward.
