[PhilosophyEvents] Philosophy Speaker Series: Dr. Carlos Sanchez and Dr. Julia Bursten

[Philosophy]

Dear Philosophy Community,

The next two Fridays there will be talks by visiting speakers, both from 3:30 to 5 p.m. (45 minute talk, 45 minute discussion).

Dr. Carlos Sanchez (San Jose State) will discuss "'Mexicano por fortuna': Accidentality, from Mexican Philosophy to the Aztecs and Back Again" on October 27th in COB2 290.

Dr. Julia Bursten (Kentucky) will discuss "What Kind of Thing is a Potato? Agriculture and the Aims of Science" on November 3rd in SSB 170 (note the different location).

Posters for both talks are attached. We hope that you can attend!
