Hi Iris,

I don’t think the first email made it out to the group. I just completed the Doodle for tomorrow and beyond. As for the Grant/Award scoring, Tommy and I had made a recommendation on who should review which applications so we only have to review a total of 6 each (with each application being reviewed by 3 people). And this is assuming that the people we suggest are able to review them. Are the people we suggested able to review the ones indicated?

Thanks,
David

Reviewers for 2021 Awards: David, Parveen, Safeeq, Iris, Tommy, Mourad

  * There are 12 total applications. Each reviewer will be responsible for 2 categories (eg. Excellence in Teaching, Excellence in Research, etc). Each reviewer will have 6 total applications to score. Each application will have 3 reviewers.

Hi all:

I hope you're all wrapping up the semester and are looking forward to some much-needed rest. I didn't see that anyone filled out the doodle poll I sent, so are we going to decide awards asynchronously? I wanted for us to meet one last time to discuss future goals. If these times don't work for you this Thursday or Friday, can you please let me know?

Thanks!

Iris

Hello NSAC Members!

Congratulations on finishing another term if you're instructional faculty. This last year has been so challenging, and we've taken on so much more in our personal and professional lives. I want you to please take a moment to acknowledge how much you have accomplished this academic year.

We have some worthy candidates to consider for awards and grants next week. If it's not too much to ask, please have your rubric filled out for each candidate so that we can debrief and vote for the awards and grants recipients and make recipient awards decisions. The way to do this would be to make a copy of the rubric and fill one out for each candidate. The score and a small explanation would be most helpful for you when it comes to voting. Once you are finished with your rubrics, please copy/paste and download as a one-word document and upload to our NSAC Box Folder titled "Rubrics" linked here<https://ucmerced.box.com/s/1lck2vnmwkxkv34n5dwhrf9rw0j3lh83>. Please upload your rubrics (one document with your name as the title) to the appropriate folder. We will then debrief and vote at a common time.

Please fill out this doodle poll by Monday at 10 pm. https://doodle.com/poll/n5stwkiqx2neqen2?utm_source=poll&utm_medium=link

I look forward to seeing you. If you are not able to make any of these times, please send me your rubrics in one file to nsac at ucmerced.edu<mailto:nsac at ucmerced.edu>.
