Hello colleagues,
I have not heard back about the Chief Campus Counsel position. I have a
meeting with the search firm early next week. I'd like to have some
feedback from our team regarding desirable traits for this position from
our perspective. I've looked over the job description, and I have some
thoughts about what values we'd like to see in possible candidates that
align with our interests. Since we have shared governance, it seems like we
would want someone who values all of the faculty and professional staff in
the same way that the Senate is valued. We have the same rights and
obligations, so someone who supports shared governance and EDI in this area
are things I plan ot focus upon.
If you have any additions to these comments, please let me know by Monday
at the latest.
Thanks, and have a great weekend!
Iris
