Dear Campus Community,

Recently, in an effort to focus support efforts within our campus
community, the People First Workgroup

was formed. The first major effort of this workgroup is the COVID-19
Experience Survey, which we invite and encourage you to participate in. The
survey will help campus leadership understand the impact of COVID-19 on
your work and well-being. Your responses will inform campus-level COVID-19
planning, with a particular focus on its impact on you – our people.

completed in one sitting and can only be taken once. At the end of the
survey, you will have an opportunity to sign up to participate in virtual
focus groups

These groups will be critical in helping us take a deeper dive on the
questions in this survey and assist with scenario planning moving forward.

The survey is designed to be completely anonymous; no identifying
information will be associated with your responses on this survey. The
survey is accessible only with UC Merced single sign-on,  however, your
identifying information will not be saved with your responses. We will ask
you to provide information about yourself so that we can better understand
disparate impacts of the pandemic. Information beyond a general
characterization of your role at UC Merced is optional.

Our goal is to ensure we are serving you in the best way possible now and
moving forward. We thank you for helping us better support you and sharing
