[Nsac] NSAC Meet and Greet-Initial Goals

Hello everyone,

This is just a quick note to say thank you so much for your presence at our
first NSAC event! It was a pleasure to meet you all. I wanted to quickly
recap what we talked about for our up and coming goals. We want to create a
regular meeting schedule. Santosh suggested to meet in Engineering II. That
sounds Iike a possibility.

I’ll be sending out a doodle for the next meeting schedule next week.

Here are some of our initial goals:

1. Award criteria.
2. Grant criteria
3. Best Practices for Unit 18 lecturers
4. Proposals
5. Guidance for student interns.

I can flesh out the first two with regards to the amount and duration for
our meeting, and John, can you work on fleshing out the rest for us in
preparation for a sub-committee meeting?
