Hi all,
I've spoken with some of you about frustrations with the current model of
open access publishing that's risen up in the past decade or so. My
colleague at ASU, Tom Morgan, and I have just written a short letter
arguing that we should, well, stop using it.
We're planning to submit it soon, but I figured this group would be a good
one to share an early draft with and get some feedback. Would especially
love to hear the extent to which folks find it persuasive and timely vs.
naive and irrelevant. Please don't share outside this group for now.
Thanks!
-Paul
