We have updated our website to reflect:
• Newly published papers, including a paper that shows how storage is used depending on the relative amounts of solar and wind
https://sites.ucmerced.edu/ldstorage/publications%20version%202
• Reports we have been filing with the CEC. Your feedback on these is welcome, though we won’t be able to update them for every new development (I see new developments in the news every day!)
https://sites.ucmerced.edu/ldstorage/downloadable-reports
• We will have a webinar update this coming Friday at 9 am PST, which will update you on the software updates we have made, enabling us to explore a broad parameter space. We will also share some beginning results and our approach at evaluating the role of long-duration energy storage. We hope you’ll be able to join. If you don’t have it on your calendar and would like to attend, please let me know. I will send a reminder with zoom info closer to the meeting time.
Thank you for your interest in our work!
Sarah
