[LDES-technology] First draft for the review meeting on Jan. 21

Here is my first cut at a set of slides for the Jan. 21 briefing. I hope that the conversations we have this week can refine these.
It would be helpful to have your revisions within the next couple of days, but the fact is that people may not look at the version we send them in advance (Jan. 14), so I can probably make revisions up to Jan. 20 for the final presentation.
Noah, we can modify these slides and/or add a new slide for the metrics you are developing.
Jerry, slide 21 gives a brief summary of the longer summary I sent you for discussion.  I hope after our discussion we can update that.
