[LDES-technology] CAISO's approach to storage - Nov. 5 Sergio Dueñas

Dear all,

We will have an external speaker for this Friday meeting. The speaker is Sergio Dueñas a senior consultant at Strategen and it is going to present:  "Renewables and Storage in the CAISO".

Sergio's Bio:
Sergio is a Senior Consultant at Strategen where he primarily focuses on policy and regulatory efforts for the California Energy Storage Alliance (CESA). Sergio has expertise in policy analysis, energy economics, electric power systems, and comparative climate policy.
Prior to joining Strategen, Sergio worked across the energy sector in Mexico at Integralia Consultores. There he served as a political and regulatory consultant to the electricity, oil, and gas industries. Sergio holds a BA with Honors in Political Science and International Relations from Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economicas (CIDE). Sergio also holds a Master in Public Policy from the Goldman School at UC Berkeley. His capstone project "Barriers and Opportunities for Long-Duration Energy Storage in California: An Analysis in the Context of SB 100" was awarded the Smolensky Prize for Best Advanced Policy Analysis.
