[LDES-technology] LDES Tech assessment meeting - Sept 16

We originally planned to talk about Energy Vault on Sept. 16, but we ended up completing that on Sept. 9.

I have signed up for ICEPAG
http://www.apep.uci.edu/ICEPAG2020/Program.html
which is a 3-day colloquium on hydrogen. The topics for Wed. morning are the role of hydrogen in transportation systems and hydrogen production.

I’m pretty sure that I can set up to be able to share the session during our meeting.

We can also talk about next steps – there is much to be done and this will be a good time for us to start dividing the work.


This was our previous plan:
On Sept. 2, we will be preparing for our meetings with:
Harvard University regarding their flow batteries
Quidnet regarding their geomechanical storage technology

On Sept. 9 we will be preparing for our meetings with
NREL on their thermal storage in particles technology
Antora Energy on their thermal + TPV storage technology

On Sept. 16 we will be preparing for our meeting with
Energy Vault on their gravity storage technology.
