OVERVIEW

The Pre-Matriculation Program (PMP<https://www.rosalindfranklin.edu/academics/college-of-health-professions/pre-matriculation-program/>) is an academic enrichment program sponsored by Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science<https://www.rosalindfranklin.edu/>. PMP<https://www.rosalindfranklin.edu/academics/college-of-health-professions/pre-matriculation-program/> offers highly motivated post-baccalaureate students from disadvantaged backgrounds or who show a commitment to serving medically underserved populations the opportunity to enroll at no cost in a non-degree program. The PMP program<https://www.rosalindfranklin.edu/academics/college-of-health-professions/pre-matriculation-program/> gives students the ability to experience medical school level coursework.

Furthermore, the program grants additional academic development and experiences to students seeking to improve their competitiveness as a health professions degree applicant. PMP<https://www.rosalindfranklin.edu/academics/college-of-health-professions/pre-matriculation-program/> students benefit from focused faculty, staff and alumni mentors who provide academic support and skills development as well as from a small cohort of peers with whom they can experience professional school life and other enrichment experiences to which they might not otherwise have access to.

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science<https://www.rosalindfranklin.edu/> is committed to contributing to a healthcare workforce that serves all people and aims to reduce health disparities while creating a more inclusive healthcare system.

For instance, some applicants may come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, or may attend schools with largely socioeconomically disadvantaged student bodies.
