UC Merced Extension is now enrolling students in an upcoming Medical Scribing Course, running February 16 – April 4, 2026.
This course is designed for students and career-changers interested in healthcare careers and provides practical training in:

  *   Clinical documentation and medical terminology
  *   Electronic Medical Records (EMR) workflows
  *   Real-world communication in medical settings
Medical scribes play an important role in supporting healthcare providers, improving efficiency, and enhancing patient-centered care. This course offers hands-on, job-relevant skills applicable across clinical environments.
