[UCM LIST: Healthprofadvising-l] LMSA-West Regional Conference at UC Davis (March 6-7, 2026)

On behalf of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA)-West,

We invite you to join us for the 42nd Annual LMSA-West Regional Conference - "Still We Rise: Unidos En La Lucha Por Nuestra Salud" on March 6th-7th, 2026, hosted at UC Davis School of Medicine.

We welcome students of all levels— pre-health undergraduate, recent graduate, and medical students—to participate in our conference. Highlights include:

Friday, March 6th-

  *   Regional Policy Summit at the California State Capitol: Participate in planned legislative visits (9am-12pm) with California State representatives to discuss key issues affecting our communities and a rally (1-3pm) to raise awareness on these issues alongside students, allies, and community partners. This event is free and open to all.   *   Medical Student-Physician Networking Night: Come engage with current resident physicians and faculty while interacting directly with regional residency programs. This event is open to current medical students/residents/health professionals who register for the conference. Space will be limited, additional RSVP will be required at no extra cost.


Saturday, March 7th-

  *   Workshops/Seminars: A full day of workshops, seminars, and keynote speakers. Gain valuable leadership skills and career development while learning about issues facing the Latinx community.
  *   Research Symposium: Learn about current research presented by pre-medical and medical students.
  *   Exhibitor Fair: Interact with medical school admissions, residency programs, and many more programs.
  *   Gala: Join us in the evening to honor our fourth-year medical students, and the accomplishments of our chapters and members. This event requires a separate ticket for purchase, open to individuals 21 years of age and above.
