APPLICATION OPENS April 15th



On April 15, the ADEA AADSAS Fee Assistance Program (FAP)<https://www.adea.org/godental/Apply/apply-to-adea-aadsas/fee-assistance-program> application will open for the 2026-27 cycle. FAP is a fee waiver program that helps eligible individuals who need financial support for their dental school application. Individuals approved for FAP receive a fee waiver for three dental school applications in ADEA AADSAS® (Associated American Dental School Application Service).

APPLICATIONS

Instructions for the 2026-27 FAP application are now available in the FAP Help Center<https://faphelp.adea.org/>.



Eligible applicants are approved on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is recommended applicants apply to FAP as early as possible after it opens. Applications cannot be updated; therefore, applicants must include all relevant documentation at the time of submission.

Applicants are encouraged to apply early to this first-come, first-served program. Applications can be submitted through June 2, and notifications will be sent beginning June 3.



Eligible applicants approved for FAP receive a fee waiver for three ADEA AADSAS-participating dental schools—a $494 value.

ADEA AADSAS FAP is an independent program, and approval of fee assistance is at the sole discretion of ADEA.

Key Dates and Reminders

  *   April 15 – June 2: FAP application window is open. Applications are reviewed first-come, first-served, so encourage eligible students to apply early.
  *   Beginning June 3: Applicant notifications begin. Approved applicants will have 30 days to submit their ADEA AADSAS designations.

  *   To align with the dental school application timeline and give early FAP applicants more time to submit their ADEA AADSAS designations, notifications to approved applicants will be sent out starting June 3, 2026. Most applicants will receive decisions by the end of June. Approved FAP applicants will have 30 days from notification to submit their ADEA AADSAS application. (ADEA may approve additional applicants as funds allow.)
  *   To simplify the documentation process, we are accepting FAFSA submission summaries that verify a student's Student Aid Index and include an estimated Pell Grant amount.
