Healthcare Stories.org : Free Personal Statement and Narrative Workshops

with Student Doctor Network, Social Mission Alliance, and Relate Labs



The Student Doctor Network<https://www.studentdoctor.net/>, the Social Mission Alliance<https://socialmission.org/>, and the Relate Lab<https://www.relatelab.org/> are collaborating with a three-workshop series focused on crafting compelling personal statements and application profiles.



Learn how to talk about your Healthcare Story! It doesn't matter whether you've put your thoughts on paper; we hope these workshops help you articulate your purpose and vision to improve your community's health and wellness.



​The workshop is appropriate for any applicant to medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, physician assistant, pharmacy, or other health professions.

Workshop 1: Discover Your Why (Thursday, February 12, 2026), 5:00 PM PT (8:00 PM ET)

Workshop 2: The Master Class (Thursday, March 12, 2026), 4:00 PM PT (7:00 PM ET). This session will not be recorded.

Workshop 3: Mentorship Connection (April 2026): asynchronous conversations with professionals with a social medicine/healthcare focus. Participants conduct interviews with professional mentors!
