Hi all!

I'm Arveen Kaur, a first year medical student at UCSF in the San Joaquin Valley (SJV) PRIME pathway! My SJV PRIME peers and I are hosting our fifth annual "Prime Time" Clinical Skills Workshop and are asking for your help to disseminate our flyer!
The Clinical Skills Workshop is a free, in-person event designed to introduce pre-medical students from under-resourced and underserved communities across the Central Valley to foundational clinical skills and pathways into medicine. It aims to provide early exposure and hands-on learning opportunities that many students may not otherwise have access to.
During the workshop, participants will:

  *   Engage in a Q&A panel with current medical students
  *   Complete an ACS Stop the Bleed training
  *   Practice immigrant health-focused history-taking skills
  *   Rotate through clinical skills stations including auscultation & vital signs, trauma & suturing, and Narcan & airway management
  *   Connect with mentors and peers interested in careers in healthcare
The event will take place on July 17th, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM at the UCSF Fresno campus, and lunch will be provided for attendees. The application deadline is July 1st, 2026 at 11:59 PM (PST).
