Attention All Bobcats!!

We hope you’re having an amazing week as we approach the end of the Fall 2024 semester! We’re excited to invite you to take a well-deserved break and join us for our Annual Empty Bowl Project – a meaningful way to relax, get creative, and give back to our community!

This week marks National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, and in partnership with the Basic Needs Center, we’re hosting an inspiring opportunity to make a difference. Students will have the chance to paint ceramic bowls, which will be donated to the Merced County Community Action Agency for their Empty Bowl Dinner. At this special dinner, the bowls will be sold to guests to help raise funds for our local D. St Shelter.

The event will take place this Thursday, November 21, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Commuter Lounge (SNTL 145). The first hour will feature a fun trivia session hosted by Basic Needs which will then be followed up by our Empty bowl Project. Students are required to attend the full two hours to participate.
