Good Morning Health Scholars,

I hope you had a great weekend! I just wanted to send out a quick reminder that we will have a Q & A with Dr. Vener today at 2PM on campus (please see the details below)!


  *   Q & A Session: November 4th 2PM-3PM , Health Scholar Program Q & A w/Dr. Margo Vener, MD (UCM DOME Director & UCSF Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Education) and Maira Pulido (DOME Manager), Granite Pass (Room 103).



I also wanted to notify all Health Scholars that the issue with registering for the Spring IML course section has now been resolved, you should be able to add this course now, please see the details below-



  *   Spring IML Course: All 1st year and 2nd year Health Scholars students have the opportunity to register for our USTU 90 course (Introduction to Medical Learning Course this Spring 2025), please see the attached flyer and course information below-
     *   Introduction to Medical Learning- Spring 2025, USTU 90, Wednesdays 1:30PM-2:20PM, CRN 13023
        *   Please note you can only add this course with the CRN number.

We hope your week is going well! I wanted to provide some updates below regarding some important information as a Health Scholar Student at UC Merced-


  *   Health Scholars Points of Contact Moving Forward-

        *   If you have any questions related to Health Scholars that do not pertain to the LLC, please email me directly.

        *   Please only contact Olivia if you have questions that are specific to the Next Gen Health Professions LLC (this is only if you are a 1st year Health Scholar)

  *   Important Course Registration Information-

     *   All Health Scholars have priority course registration, priority course registration for Spring 2025 is this Friday, November 1st.
     *   For 1st year Health Scholar students, we also have a few courses that were hidden, please see the attached list with the course information, this also includes the CRN for these courses.
     *   All 1st year and 2nd year Health Scholars students have the opportunity to register for our USTU 90 course (Introduction to Medical Learning Course this Spring 2025), please see the attached flyer and course information below-
