Good afternoon All,
As a follow-up, before I get distracted by other things (i.e., dinner), I
wanted to let the group as a whole know that the Spring Q. group "voted"
(i.e., had a discussion) to:
- Have meetings on the *last Wednesday of the month, once a quarter*
(partly to reduce emails about scheduling)
- The *Summer *Quarter session will focus on thinking about *web
repositories and repository tech*. Based on our discussion, that was an
issue that many of us are interested in both from the front (consults,
personal projects) and back (DAMS) ends. The discussion will be informal,
looking at efforts and experiences.
Today's meeting was a lovely round robin discussion reminding one another
about who we are and--excitingly--talking about some of the projects that
we have been involved in, either personally or conversationally. You can
find out more about people's projects in our Google Doc notes
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1iyARNNF9GV6vRiR61IuMUBdZGPw1_xKI7nV3YanXTU0/edit?usp=sharing>
.
My congratulations to those who mentioned recent publications and
conference presentations!
Thank you all for being an amazing group!
Cheers,
Bee
