[CIN-announce] April 24th - Center for Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Poster Showcase & Research-Focused Mixer

Dear CIN members and friends,

Please plan to join the UC Merced Neuroscience Community for a fun and friendly interdisciplinary event!

When: Friday, April 24th from 2:00–3:00 PM

Where: In the California Room (see attached map)

What: Neuroscience Poster Showcase & Research-Focused Mixer
Students and faculty from across campus will be presenting posters showcasing their research related to neuroscience across different fields. Food will be provided!

Who: All are welcome! Undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty interested in knowing more about ongoing interdisciplinary neuroscience research at UCM are encouraged to attend. Please share this message with anyone else who you think may be interested.

Students interested in presenting should fill out the following form in order to be eligible for a best poster award*: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeRm8pTf6bt1P9GMFq0Bj-DqVOJojeXCnf3GsUIVryWScZWCQ/viewform?usp=dialog
*Posters of in-progress work and those previously presented at other venues are welcome and eligible to receive an award!

Following the mixer, we will all move over to the conference center for the annual Distinguished Cognitive Scientist Lecture and Award Ceremony. This year’s award will be presented to Sharon Thompson-Schill of the University of Pennsylvania (https://web.sas.upenn.edu/schill-lab/), a leader in behavioral and cognitive neuroscience.

Come by, enjoy some food, and get inspired by the diverse world of neuroscience research on campus!
