<p class="MsoNormal">The sixth annual Global Arts, Media, and Writing Studies Lecture Series returns for the 2021-22 season. The lecture series provides the Merced community with the opportunity to interact with professors conducting cutting edge research in
many different academic fields. The theme of the lecture series this year is “Perspectives on Creativity,” an exploration of how creative processes are used in many academic endeavors and how they lead to important insights that benefit humanity. Faculty conducting
research in mathematics, public health, biology, history, literature, and business management will present insights from their research from a layperson’s perspective and how creativity has been a central component of their work. This year, the lecture series
will be held at the <b>Merced County Library, 2100 O Street</b> in downtown Merced. The presenters this year are:
