a text mining project. The workshop will be an introduction to computational text analysis, including what it is, what’s possible, and how it is being used for research. In addition to a discussion on the theories and methodologies in the field, participants
will explore different ways to examine and visualize provided datasets using Voyant. Voyant is an open-source tool ideal for experimentation and to familiarize yourself with the process of importing textual data, analyzing it, then creating and interpreting
