Could you please help us get the word out to your students and graduates
that we will be accepting applications at www.USAJOBS.gov starting
Thursday, July 27 for early spring 2024 jobs with the U.S. Forest Service?
I realize school is probably not in session but perhaps you are able to
forward or post the flyer for recent or past students.  The attached flyer
details the botany and weed crew positions that we’re filling in the
Stanislaus National Forest.  These positions will be great for applicants
who have already graduated or will graduate in December.  The crew
positions will have a start date in mid-March 2024 and will run through
summer.



The Groveland Ranger District is also advertising early start positions in
Recreation, Visitor Information Services and Timber Stand Improvement
(reforestation).  The Calaveras Ranger District is advertising early start
positions in Visitor Information Services and Recreation.  The second
attached flyer provides vacancy announcement numbers for those.  The open
and close dates are the same as the botany & weed crew positions.



These vacancy announcements open Thursday, July 27th and close on
Wednesday, August 9th.  All resumes and supporting documents must be
submitted to www.USAJOBS.gov by August 9th to be considered.  Candidates
should not delay submitting their application packages.



There will be another round of hiring advertised in September for jobs in
many disciplines that will start in April, May and June and go through
summer 2024.  Those vacancy announcements will also be posted in USAJOBS.
