Dear science fans,

Recent drought years have left an enormous impact on the forests of the
Sierra Nevada, especially with the Ponderosa Pine. But droughts have come
in the past - how do the forests cope with these tough years? Is this
drought different now from one before? Will some tree species fare better
than others? There are many questions to dig into here.

Please joins us at Science Café Merced on Monday, November 14 to chat with
Emily Moran about Forest responses to drought and changing climate. Emily
Moran is a faculty member at UC Merced.

Title: *Forest responses to drought and changing climate*
