<p style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0">LLNL is planning to do a 2-week Data Science Challenge (which will be part bootcamp and part problem solving) from May 20-31, 2019.</p>

<p style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0"><br>

</p>

<p style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0">The program is only for UC Merced students and there are 20 positions: 16 undergraduate students (who will be split into 4 teams) and 4 graduate students (each of which will help supervise a team).</p>

<p style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0">During the 2 week period all students (grad/undergraduate) will receive:</p>

<p style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0">- Housing in Livermore for 2 weeks.</p>

<p style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0">- Per diem for food</p>

<p style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0">- Reimbursement for mileage/travel expenses.</p>

<p style="margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0">More information, including details about the projects, will be shared at an information session next Tuesday, February 19th from Noon - 1:30pm in SAAC (see attached flyer).</p>
