</b>will hold our <a href="http://ccbm.ucmerced.edu/outreach/ccbm-annual-open-house" id="LPlnk975326" class="OWAAutoLink" previewremoved="true">
<b>CCBM External Advisory Board Meeting, held jointly with the CCBM Open House</b></a> all day on the UC Merced campus. The majority of the sessions will be
<b>open to all</b>. The day will include a keynote presentation; CCBM research, education, outreach and evaluation talks; a poster session; lab tours and more. The

</b>will be our <b>keynote speaker</b>:</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal"><i>“<span style="background:white">Tal Danino’s research explores the emerging field of synthetic biology, focusing on building a quantitative understanding of dynamic gene circuits and designing biological behaviors that have technological
applications. The interaction of microbes and tumors is a major target of his work, where DNA sequences and synthetic biology approaches are used to program bacteria as diagnostics and therapeutics in cancer. Danino also brings this science outside the laboratory
as a TED Fellow and through science-art projects.” </span></i></p>
