</b> As a 1<sup>st</sup> year student, attending the JGI conference offers an invaluable exposure about the trends and research opportunities/challenges in the field.
<b> </b> High throughput sequencing, which will be integral component of my research, is major topic of the conference. Also, the conference will coincide with my own personal deadline to start drafting my research proposal, I believe attending the conference
will offer some valuable insights and ideas. Finally, I’ve never attended a science conference of this magnitude before.<b><o:p></o:p></b></span></p>
