Calling all citizen scientists!!!  Come on out to the UC Merced Vernal
Pools and Grassland Reserve on Saturday, December 2 (9-12pm) and join
researchers Dr. Jason Sexton (UCM), Dr. Dannise Ruiz Ramos (UCM), and Dr.
Andy Aguilar (CSU Los Angelos) in collecting soil samples on the Reserve!  All
samples will be sent to UCLA and processed for DNA sequences in the soils
(eDNA) to help discover the biodiversity of microbes, plants, and animals!
Please see attached flyer for more information.  Training will be
provided.  If you are interested, please email me, so that I can put you on
the list!
