[PhilosophyEvents] Next Friday: "Nature vs. Nurture" talk by Dr. Henry Bowles

[Philosophy]

Dear Philosophy Students and Faculty,

I hope you have a restful (and delicious) break this week. Next Friday, December 1st at 3:30 p.m. in COB2 290 we will be hosting Dr. Henry Bowles (Oxford) who will be giving an interactive talk that combines his interests in classics, literature, and ancient philosophy called “Nature vs. Nurture: Ancient Rhetoric and the Talent Debate” (poster attached). I hope that you can join! The following Friday (December 8th) we will have our final Reading Room of the term in the same location, from 3 to 5 p.m. I will be sure to bring some holiday snacks and treats to these events.
