clean energy access, high-voltage high-capacity controllable DC transmission technology and the ever-expanding scale of interconnection, the concept of global energy interconnection (GEI) is put forward. In the future, GEI with the ability of inclusiveness,
mutual assistance, access to a variety of renewable energy sources, could make full use of different energy resources by space-time complementarity, and promote clean energy as the dominant energy source.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
