 nnell and/or Taylor McNair will introduce GridLab and the 2035 report (see

 https://www.2035report.com/>)\, followed by discussion.\n\nThe 2035 report
  uses the latest renewable energy and battery cost data to demonstrate the
  technical and economic feasibility of achieving 90% clean (carbon-free) e
 lectricity in the United States by 2035. Two central cases are simulated u
 sing state-of-the-art capacity- expansion and production-cost models: The 
 No New Policy case assumes continuation of current state and federal polic
 ies\; and the 90% Clean case requires that a 90% clean electricity share i
 s reached by 2035. The 2035 Report highlights the opportunity to quickly m
 ove to 90% carbon free electricity by 2035 while many groups are focusing 
 on 100% carbon free by 2050.\n\n\n
