<span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); line-height: 20.5042px;">This 1-unit seminar course is designed to provide students with an introduction to health, how health care is delivered, and basic skills to be successful as a future health professional.
In this course, students will learn about what roles health professionals have interacting with patients, who is on the healthcare team and what they do as a team, and identify paths and resources to prepare for a health career. Medicine and health are important
career fields, especially in the San Joaquin Valley. Students will be encouraged to learn and practice skills that health professionals use including communication, patient education, and working with others.</span></div>
