<p class="MsoNormal">The Undergraduate Plummer Scholars Academic Year Program (UPS-AY) is a distance learning program. The primary aim of UPS-AY is to expose, excite, and engage undergraduate students with high potential of pursuing a career in medicine. Webinars
are conducted via Zoom on Saturday mornings at 10am CT every other month. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Students attending the UPS-AY program will have the opportunity to apply for the
<a href="https://college.mayo.edu/academics/office-of-education-engagement-and-outreach/programs/undergraduate-plummer-scholars-plus-ups-program/">
Undergraduate Plummer Scholars Plus (UPS+) summer program</a> which is a distinct track within the larger UPS-AY program specifically for outstanding students with a GPA of at least 3.2, living in U.S. mainland and plans to take the MCAT in the next 12-months.
UPS+ is an intensive week-long summer program in June and July 2026 at one of our three campuses in AZ, MN, or FL.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Pre-medical undergraduate students are planning to apply to medical school. Incoming freshmen are not eligible, but we welcome applications as rising sophomores next year.
