Are you a nontraditional, first-gen, and/or BIPOC student planning to apply to graduate school? This hands-on workshop will guide you through the application process, from crafting a strong statement of purpose and securing recommendation letters to researching programs and funding. Through interactive activities, you'll gain practical tools to strengthen your applications and create a clear action plan for next steps. Participants will also receive a grad school list tracking spreadsheet, an essay writing handout, sample email templates, and a podcast playlist to support your game plan. Whether you're just starting or finalizing materials, you'll leave feeling more prepared and confident.

This event is open to all UC Merced undergraduate students, alumni, and/or staff.

Note: Students will need to bring laptops and/or phones to participate in the activities.
