Explore the field of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery through a one-day event hosted at the Oakland campus. Talk to the students and faculty and find out if this rewarding profession fits you.  The CPM Immersion Experiences<https://www.samuelmerritt.edu/college-podiatric-medicine-experiences> have been created for undergraduate or graduate students who are interested in podiatric medicine and surgery.  The Summer Immersion Experience is a one-day event and is scheduled on Friday, July 18, 2025 and will be hosted at Samuel Merritt University's Oakland campus (3100 Telegraph Ave, Oakland, CA 94609).


  *   Explore the profession of podiatry
  *   Shadow current CPM students and faculty in a variety of clinical settings*
  *   Learn about the Basic Sciences department and its partnership with CPM
  *   Learn about the admission process
  *   Participate in workshops such as suturing and athletic taping
  *   Learn sports medicine taping techniques, and more

*Shadowing experiences may be subject to change depending on clinical availability. Space is limited for these programs.
