Good morning!



My name is Michael Di Martino. I am a fourth year in the USC-Caltech MD-PhD program, second year PhD student at Caltech.



This year, USC is hosting the American Physician Scientists Associations 2024-2025 West Regional Meeting<https://www.physicianscientists.org/page/RegionalList>. This one-day catered event will take place on Saturday, March 29th from 7 AM to 5 PM, with both in-person and virtual programming. Registration is free, but in-person attendance is capped at 100 -- please register ASAP!



The event will host several speakers at various stages of the physician scientist pathway, from trainees to PSTP directors to roles in industry. The goal is to facilitate knowledge and support of the physician scientist training pathway and to connect undergraduates, physician scientist trainees, and currently practicing physician scientists. Specific program information (schedule, speaker list) will be available on the Meeting’s microsite<https://code.physicianscientists.org/2025-west-regional-meeting/> (please note -- this website is still being finalized; some information is subject to change. The items in this e-mail are the most up-to-date).



If interested in attending, please register by Friday March 7th, 2025, 11:59 PM. All registrants will receive information for virtual attendance. Additionally, if interested in presenting a poster, please submit an abstract by the same date / time.
