The 2025-2026 CASPA (Centralized Application Service for Physician Assistants<https://caspa.cas.myliaison.com/applicant-ux/#/login>) cycle will open on April 24, 2025. Please see below for important cycle dates and information.

CASPA Fees & Fee Waivers
The 25-26 CASPA application fee<https://help.liaisonedu.com/CASPA_Applicant_Help_Center/Starting_Your_CASPA_Application/Getting_Started_with_Your_CASPA_Application/3_CASPA_Application_Fees> is $184 for the first designation and $61 for each additional designation.

Each year, PAEA<https://paeaonline.org/> provides a limited number of fee waivers<https://help.liaisonedu.com/CASPA_Applicant_Help_Center/Starting_Your_CASPA_Application/Getting_Started_with_Your_CASPA_Application/3_CASPA_Application_Fees> to applicants. The fee waiver<https://help.liaisonedu.com/CASPA_Applicant_Help_Center/Starting_Your_CASPA_Application/Getting_Started_with_Your_CASPA_Application/3_CASPA_Application_Fees> covers the fee of the first two programs ($245). To redeem the full waiver amount, applicants must submit to their first two programs at the same time. If they wish to apply for additional programs, they are responsible for the remaining balance.
To be considered for a CASPA fee waiver<https://help.liaisonedu.com/CASPA_Applicant_Help_Center/Starting_Your_CASPA_Application/Getting_Started_with_Your_CASPA_Application/3_CASPA_Application_Fees>, the 2025-26 CASPA application<https://caspa.cas.myliaison.com/applicant-ux/#/login> must be created, complete the fee waiver application<https://help.liaisonedu.com/CASPA_Applicant_Help_Center/Starting_Your_CASPA_Application/Getting_Started_with_Your_CASPA_Application/3_CASPA_Application_Fees#Applying_for_a_Fee_Waiver>, and submit a copy of any required 2024 federal income tax returns. CASPA Application Enhancements
The enhancements listed below have been added to the 2025-26 CASPA application<https://caspa.cas.myliaison.com/applicant-ux/#/login>.

  *   Updated Applicant Agreement
     *   Disclosure of potential CASPA applicant data usage by programs, and directs applicants to inquire about each institution's terms and conditions and privacy policies.
     *   Disclosure of potential generative or predictive AI usage by programs during application review, and directs applicants to inquire about each institution's use of AI and their policies.
  *   Life Experiences Essay is now required (prompt language in attachment)
     *   Applicants will answer this essay, which allows them to describe their unique life experiences relevant to comprehensive admissions review in 2500 characters.
  *   Comments for Likert Criteria in Letters
     *   Allows for letter authors to add comments to their Likert scores for additional context.

CASPA Program Directory
Visit the updated CASPA Program Directory<https://paeaonline.org/our-programs> to view PA program pages. The directory has a map view or a list view, allowing applicants to view the geographical span of our PA programs across the country. It also includes advanced filtering options such as GRE requirements, Veteran support, minimum GPA, etc. We've also included fields for each program, such as:

  *   Doctoral degree offered
  *   Prerequisite GPA
  *   Admission type
  *   Virtual experience hours accepted

CASPA Applicant Guide
We want applicants and advisors to feel as prepared as possible when going into the 2025-26 application cycle. Our team has released an updated version of the CASPA Applicant Guide<https://paeaonline.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/CASPA-Applicant-Guide-25-26-Final-Version-April-Update.pdf> to help with the process. CASPA Test Account
Want to see what your applicants see? Starting on April 24th, you can create a test application account by visiting the CASPA application<https://caspa.cas.myliaison.com/applicant-ux/#/login> and selecting "Create an Account." On the following screen, you will be able to indicate that your account is a test account. You may also want to consider using "test" in your username. You can continue to use this account in future cycles.

Virtual PA Admissions Fairs
