CPR Certification at UC Merced

Tiny Health Tales Club

Training Date: 04/20/2025

This month, there is an exciting opportunity for UC Merced students to become CPR certified at a discounted price of just $50 through the Tiny Health Tales Chapter at UC Merced. This training will cover CPR, first aid, wound care, and choking relief, providing essential skills for emergencies.

Beyond certification, this event serves as a fundraiser for charity, with 100% of proceeds supporting schools in underserved regions of Vietnam. By participating, students will not only gain a crucial certification but also contribute to a meaningful cause.

This is a great opportunity for pre-med and pre-health students, as CPR certification is often required for internships, volunteer positions, and future career goals in healthcare.

Tiny Health Tales (THT) is a volunteer-based organization that was founded by UC Merced students to help increase health literacy in the medically underserved San Joaquin Valley region of California. THT also seeks to raise awareness of medical issues unique to the SJV, such as Valley Fever and significantly higher rates of asthma due to poor air quality.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
