Climate, Environment and Health Impacting the San Joaquin Valley and Beyond
Monday March 6, 10:00am - 1:00pm Conference Center Room 105
The Health Sciences Research Institute's 2023 Research Week event explores current research on environmental and climate change issues affecting the health of people living in California's San Joaquin Valley, the nation and the world.

A packed schedule includes presentations by Professors Jennifer Hahn-Holbrook (Safeguarding Infant Nutrition Against Climate Crisis); Asa Bradman (Food, Water, Shelter?  What about air?  Overview of air quality work in the San Joaquin Valley); Sandie Ha (The Changing Climate and Reproductive Health); and Katrina Hoyer (Interplay Between the Microbiome and Fungal Pathogen During Valley Fever), followed by a discussion on The Future of HSRI and Health Sciences Research in the San Joaquin Valley led by HSRI Director and Professor Deborah Wiebe.
