Dr. Rosa D. Manzo attended UCLA as first-generation student and obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in education.  She also holds a Ph.D. in education from UC Davis.  Dr. Manzo currently serves as the Associate Director of Medical Education at UC Merced. She has experience in the development and implementation of curriculum for pipeline programs and programs in higher education settings. Currently, as a member of the SJV PRIME Task Force, she is actively involved in the development of the new program in medical education at UCSF-Fresno.  In the past, she has taught for pre-health pipeline programs including UC Davis-Kaiser Permanente's Prep Medico.
