Apply for Inside UCSF by March 1!
The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and San Francisco State University (SFSU) jointly offer a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program. The three-year DPT program prepares collaborative professionals in physical therapy who are committed to patient care, education, and the application of research to clinical practice. The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is pleased to announce its annual INSIDE UCSF program, taking place April 15-16, 2015 on the UCSF campus. This exciting and informative two-day program offers a chance for prospective students to become inspired about pursuing a health sciences career at UCSF.
We encourage prospective Physical Therapy students  to apply to the INSIDE UCSF via the program website<http://diversity.ucsf.edu/content/apply-inside-ucsf-2016> by March 1, 2016.
Through structured activities and intentional workshops, participants will have the opportunity to explore possibilities in graduate and professional education. The program, including meals and travel, is offered at no cost to selected applicants.
Inside UCSF will feature:

  *   Interactive sessions and panels with UCSF students and leadership
  *   Classroom experiences with UCSF faculty members
  *   Information about pursuing higher education at UCSF
  *   Tours of the campus and new state-of-the-art facilities
  *   An unforgettable experience!
The Inside UCSF Planning Committee invites you to partner with us in recruiting talented and diverse students for this exciting and informative program. This year the UCSF Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, the Graduate Division and Physical Therapy are reaching out to institutions throughout California and the United States for current undergrad and postbacc students who have an expressed interest and talent in the sciences. The Committee particularly encourages the participation of students from ethnically diverse backgrounds, those who are underrepresented in the health science professions, and/or are from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Interested individuals will need to submit a completed application on INSIDE UCSF program website<http://diversity.ucsf.edu/content/apply-inside-ucsf-2016>. The application deadline is March 1, 2016. The Inside UCSF Planning Committee will review completed applications and select 100 students to participate. Selected participants will be notified via email.
