KAPLAN FREE TEST DAY

Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions will be administering free practice MCAT, LSAT, GMAT and GRE exams on Saturday, February 23, 2008.  The LSAT and GRE will begin at 10am and the MCAT and GMAT will begin at 11am.  If you haven't taken the MCAT or GRE before, come out and take the sample exam to see how you score and see what the test is like. Sign-up online at www.kaptest.com. Click on one of these four tests and then click on "Find a Free Event".

STUDENT ADVISNG & LEARNING CENTER TUTORING

Don't be shy about asking for help!  This spring, tutoring is available for a number of courses required for many prehealth tracks. For tutoring session days and times, visit http://learning.ucmerced.edu. Courses for which tutoring is offered are as follows:

SALC WORKSHOPS

Strategy workshops are offered every semester by the Student Advising and Learning Center (SALC) to help students learn effective skills in areas like note taking, time management, and organization. For more information, visit http://learning.ucmerced.edu. Dates for this semester are as follows:
. Effective Note Taking: Thursday, March 7 at 4:00 pm (Location TBD)
. Academic Motivation: Tuesday, March 18 at 12:00 pm (Location TBD)
