with life-changing, career-launching internships</a>. In addition to a powerful educational experience,
<a href="https://healthcareerconnection.org/students-aspiring-health-professionals/">
HCC interns</a> discover or affirm the health career direction that best suits them, find mentors, secure job offers and increase their competitiveness and connections for graduate health and professions schools.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Spend a summer in an experiential learning internship program designed to develop the
<a href="https://healthcareerconnection.org/students-aspiring-health-professionals/">
next generation of health professionals and leaders</a>. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Through partnerships with leading organizations,
<b>HCC provides internships in a variety of settings including but not limited to
</b>hospitals, community health centers, medical groups, consulting firms, health plans, local health departments, governmental agencies, community-based organizations, and advocacy groups. We also have new internships in bio-health, artificial intelligence,
biopharma and digital health. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="color:black">During the internship, students gain valuable real-world exposure, experience and mentorship</span></b><span style="color:black"> and complete meaningful projects. Interns also advance their professional skills
and personal development through HCC workshops and trainings. HCC provides extensive exposure to health careers and connections to health professionals through workshops and events guiding students towards their authentic health career path. Interns become
part of the HCC family of over 5,800 alumni who are health leaders and professionals in health care, public health, mental health, biotech, biopharmaceuticals, and other health sectors and are working to advance health improvement. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">HCC interns receive educational stipends that range from $5,000 - $6,000 over the summer.
